How to combine multiple trendlines in a single chart?

I'm new in here and I love the forum already! I'm stuck with a problem now. I am doing financial ratio analysis of a company for five years and I need to show the ratios in a trendline. I have generated seperate line charts for each ratio, but I want to combine the charts and have multiple trendlines for multiple data series in a chart. Is this possible? Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not really proficient in excel, so please explain your answer fully. I know I am asking for a lot, but I am really desperate for a solution. This is driving me crazy!!

If I understand what you are trying to do, then yes, it can be done. Can you clarify something? Are you trying to create a chart where you have multiple data series and a trendline for each data series? or are you trying to combine everything into one chart, then have a single trendline based on all of the data series?

Re: How to combine multiple trendlines in a single chart?

Start by adding multiple data series to a given chart: see adding data to an existing chart here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...980.aspx?CTT=1 and/or here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...310.aspx?CTT=1

Once all the data is added to the chart, then add the trendlines: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...798.aspx?CTT=1

It should be that easy. Let us know if you get stuck.
