Pivot Table formula giving incorrect results

Hi Guys, attached is a xlsx file with pipes in our government area, and I am trying to add a field that multiplies its unit rate by the length, which in turn gives us a total value for each pipe type. But when I manually calculate the values I am getting different results.
    Current Sewer Main Types.zip

    see formula im using:
Microsoft Excel - Current Sewer Main Types.xlsx_2014-02-20_14-46-29.jpg

see results i get vs excel calculates:
    example errors.jpg

Is there a better way for me to be calculating these total values so they are correct?

    Thanks heaps.

    Hello Evil,
    Welcome to the forum.
You are getting the wrong totals because Pivot Table is adding up your rates and then multiplying it with length.
You may have to tweak in your source data!!

And thats how I went about fixing it.... so what I had to do was go right back to my original SQL query to add a field to my source date, so it was multiplying my Unit Rate * Length, then go about it that way, as the pivot wasnt doing what I thought it was.

Thanks for your help. Problem Solved!
