Control the input via the curve in the chart

Is there a way to control the input of a specific cell/range using the curve/point in the chart.

Yes, the curve in the chart is built on the specific cell/range.

I want to avoid scrolling bar.

It was pretty easy in old versions of excel.
I have handy Ex2000 and there it works.
But in 2010 (as you have) this feature has been disabled.
Probably too often people were incidentally changing their valuable data just by dragging points on the graph.

Hmmm... sound like they just need to introduce some security button that can enable/disable dragging.

So I guess no chance at all in the new office?
