Add series to middle of data range without disrupting chart format

I have a set of data listed by country, I need to add a new country to the list and I want to keep everything in alphabetical order. My problem is that adding a new series to the range anywhere but the end throws of the series formatting for my chart. The plotted points on my chart are the countries flag, so when everything shifts down a row the flags no longer represent the proper country. Is there an easy way to add the new country and keep my formatting lined up or will I need to redo the formatting for all the alphabetically lower countries?

I don't have access to the file right now but I made a quick example. http://imgur.com/a/B0Juv#ik7V7YX

Image 1 is the starting point with formatting. Image 2 shows an addition with it's new formatting. Image 3 is what happens when I sort the table alphabetically.

Thanks, I see where Great Britain has been added in image 2 & that the countries are sorted in image 3.

It looks like the values are staying with the countries when you sorted.

    What am I missing?

The marker points for the chart have changed between image 2 and 3. After the sort the line for the US series has UK flags, the UK line has Mexican flags and so on.

I think you will continue to have a problem with your chart.

As you're probably aware, the chart is reading from the original cells & don't move to adjust to added data.

Sorry, can't think of any answer apart from redoing the chart each time you add data.
