    Cool trouble sorting pivot table

    asdfgh.png

    (yes, these are magic cards)

I would like to sort the table in descending order by the value in the far right column, ΔWk. However, when I attempt to do so, I get some extra values which imo shouldn't be there (note the records in red). Is there some option hidden somewhere that I've missed to NOT put all the records that share the same name together like what is happening in the table currently?

    Thanks!

    Hi

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

workbook attached. there is no before/after because I don't know how to begin to do what I want. I'd like the highlighted records to not be present when I sort by the far right column.

    Thanks

    Re: trouble sorting pivot table

Maybe I'm not being clear about what I'm trying to do here. See the pivot table on sheet 2. I would like the table sorted in descending order by the far right column, ΔWk. When I do this, I get the result you see (I also filtered ΔWk by top 10). I would like the items highlighted in yellow to not be displayed, as their ΔWk value is too low. I think Excel is grouping them together because they have the same name in column 1 (ie, it puts all the Ajanis together, all the Jaces together, and so on). Is there any way to change this behavior in the pivot table?

    Many thanks for your consideration
