    How to produce a very simple chart

    Im going to cry! I have now spent nearly 5 hours trying to produce a very simple chart. Ive googled and googled and i'm still stuck.
    Please could someone help!?
    I just want to reproduce this...

    The closest ive got is this... but all the data is as one series so I cant change the shape of the points (triangles, square etc)

    would be easier if you uploaded a sample... your second picture is actually closer I think... there should be a 'switch rows/columns' button that I think will get you most of the way there...

    Thank you both so much for your replies. I am currently going through dissertation hell (for the second time round) and honestly felt dizzy and sick with the stress by my lack of skill with excel!

    I am sure I will refer back to this thread in the future and hope it helps others too.

    That is the final chart complete and my last regular assignment is now almost ready to hand in.

    For what its worth the figures are pulled from a paper studying the persistence of populations of bighorn sheep in California, with regard to population viability. Rapid extinction of mountain sheep populations revisited, Wehausen 1999.
