Adding % data labels on a stacked column pivot chart of absolute values

Hi all,

Total noob to the forum. I have tried to find out if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't see it. My problem is that I have a created a stacked column pivot chart (shown below) and I want to add data labels representing the percentage mix within each column, whilst retaining the absolute values as the Y axis.

I have tried going into value field settings, and in the show values as tab selecting the % of column total. That gives me the percentages across the x axis, not the Y axis (meaning if I add left to right I get 100%, but I don't get 100% within the column). I tried all the other options in the show values tab and nothing worked.

Any ideas.

Well the patch fix I used was to add data labels, then manually change them all to the figures I wanted. Obviously I still would like to see if anyone can come up with an answer for how to get Excel to do it, so I will leave this open.
