scroll graph ...how to eliminate #REF

    Hello

managed to put together a scrolling graph, where quota is shown at a stand still vs. sales ppl actuals.

i have highlighted in "yellow" where the scroll data is triggered from, however, i cant seem to remove the #REF that is show on the graph?
-if u scroll to the very right of the graph, it will show a #REF error.

can someone pls help me remove those; ive been at this for the past day+. thx you so much!!!!!

You're getting the #REF because the row number exceeds the number of rows in the INDEX()

Increase the INDEX() size to accommodate max values

    jw01,

Is this a duplicate post? It looks like it is. http://www.excelforum.com/excel-char...croll-bar.html

If it is, please do not practice duplicating posts. It is against forum rules and is not fair to people trying to help you as they end up just wasting their time not knowing others have also helped you.

I have adjusted your INDEX() formulas row references to contain caps.

Thanks NBVC for pointing that out. I assumed someone with that many posts would be following forum etiquette.

Re: scroll graph ...how to eliminate #REF

    hello guys

no, i did not mean to replicate two threads. when i initially posted my first thread, it showed an error on my explorer so i refreshed my screen and created another post; i then realized my first thread was created even though it showed an error - my apologies but i didnt know how to delete a thread. thxs

also, cutter, ive managed to insert a offset function so it doesnt show any blanks etc; however my graph is showing the initial "quota" and data for a single sales person, is it possible when i scroll that it shows more than one person? hope u follow, thxs
