help with =AVERAGEIF

hi all,

I'm trying to get an average based off the condition of multiple cells. Please see attachment, but basically column A has two possible values (we'll just say X or Z) , and and column H has a value, if column G has a date.

So if A has X, and G has a date, then I want to average the value of column H (an integer if it matters)

Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance for any help!

Take a look at using the averageifS() function, it allows for averaging based on specified criteria
