how to remove adjacent value to duplicates in another column

hi to all,
i have data like this
A B
1 A
2 A
3 A
4 A
5 A
6 B
7 B
8 B
9 B
10 B
and i want like this
1 A
2 B
its just like removing duplicates in col B and its corresponding colA values. I tried lot but no success can any one help me in this

Select Column B and Click Remove Duplicates in Data Menu>>Click Continue With Current Selection>> Press Ok

Select only the second column.

Data -- Remove Duplicates -- Continue with current selection -- Remove duplicates -- Ok

This will leave values in first Column. Delete the values without the corresponding values in second column
