Good Afternoon Everyone,
I'm having an issue I don't know how to fix, I have a spreadsheet for tracking how long a job is at a vendor. The way it works is, in the second tab, across the top there is the date starting at "TODAY()" and then adding up 1 day per column for 30 days. Along the side is all the different job numbers and operation numbers. I use "Index & MATCH" to find the number of days a process takes based on the Job number an operation number, that is displayed in the same row at the end of the 30 days. Here's the problem, in conditional formatting I have entered the formula "=COLUMN()<$AG4+3" to highlight the number of days out of the building but because the number is static, it always highlights the same number as shown in the "INDEX & MATCH" lookup. I need it to count down so tomorrow it will be 9 cells, the next day will have 8 cells and so on. Because I use "TODAY()" in the date, the calculation doesn't count down. Does anyone have any ideas that might help me?
Thanks very much for any help you can give.
Jason
