    Conditional Format

    Hi

I need a way to format the color of a cell based on the value of the cell above it. For example if A4=5 A5=6 A6=6 A7=3 then I want cells A5 and A6 to be highlighted. This only needs to be highlighted if adjacent cells are of the same value. Can this be done?

    THX in advance

    PD

    Re: Conditional Format

Make a new rule for conditional formatting. Select the range A5 to say A50, while A5 is active cell, try this formula for conditional formatting......

and set the format as per your requirement.

For detail see the attached sheet.
