Re: Dependent Data Validation - Indirect Function

I'm sorry but I just have no idea what you're asking.

I cannot get my indirect function to work in Cell K2 based on cell J2

There is no indirect function in cell K2. The function in K2 is

Data for the Validation is in cells W1 to AC14

I want to do data validation in Column K

I could not find any data validation in column K or anywhere else.

So all I understand is that you want to do data validation in column K and can't get it to work. But you have given no idea at all of what you are trying to validate, how you are trying to use INDIRECT, or anything else. Please try to explain your question again.

Re: Dependent Data Validation - Indirect Function

Here is one that is less than perfect but may work for you. The reason it is less than perfect is that the data validation list will always have 6 lines in it, and some may be blank if there are not 6 items for that choice. I think it is possible to adjust the size of the list dynamically but it would greatly increase the complexity of the formula. Try this.
