Guys I need help. I am trying to create a proprietary blend of chemicals for a product which is currently under development.
I have 54 chemicals which I have labeled 1-54 based on volatility. I only need to combine six of the elements in varying amounts to get the reaction I desire.
I know there are more than 25.8 million possible combinations but I don't need to know every one of them.
I have surmised my best chances for success would be to have chemical combinations whose combined volatility indexes add up to somewhere between 130 and 140.
This is where you guys come in. I am not familiar with the intricacies of MS Excel. I need it to do my thinking for me. Can you assist me with a formula I can use which would list all the numbers in separate columns between 1 and 54 in six number sets which, when combined, would add up to, for instance, 131 (or any other number I may need for it to), as in the example below?
3 12 9 28 36 43 = 131
6 16 44 23 25 17 = 131
11 27 23 25 32 13 = 131
13 22 21 9 50 16 = 131
14 15 19 23 29 31 = 131
27 22 31 16 9 26 = 131
and so on
