Hi
Is it possible when copying and pasting a formula, to see the values from each cell rather than the cell reference?

Hi Fotis, I tried that but it doesn't give me what I was looking for so I must have termed the question wrongly. If in cell B5 I added the values from the 2 cells above, when I go into B5 I can see the formula, but I want to see the values from the 2 cells above not the formula.
Hi AliGW, what is the Evaluate Formula option?
Hi,
An alternative to using Evaluate Formula is to go into the formula bar and highlight the portion which you would like to see evaluated and press F9.
For example, with the formula:
=SUM(A1:A4)
going into the formula bar, highlighting A1:A4 only and pressing F9 will give you what you want.

Select a cell with a formula in it and click on it on the Formulas ribbon - you'll see what it does. Easier to look yourself than for me to try to explain it to you!
Edit: in your version, it will be a menu option.
This shows the values on the sheet rather than the values in the formula ribbon, so maybe a better question is, is it possible to see the values in the formula ribbon rather than the cell references?
I've just tried this, and it appears to change the contents of the formula - it's not a toggle. Am I missing something?
Hi XOR LX, Sorry, first time on here, none of the solutions are giving me exactly what I am looking for so I will reply when I think of a clearer way of asking the question. Thanks for all of the replies.
Could you give me some feedback as to the solution I proposed first?
Regards
