formula to auto delete number in dropdown list when number appears in another cell #2

    hello everyone,

I previously posted this title and now have another question on the same spreadsheet and labeled it as Solved. What is in the helper column works as I requested. The numbers 30, 27, & 14 in column K on the worksheet are deleted from the Helper Column as I like. The spreadsheet is about 300 rows.

What I would like to do and keep getting errors in my efforts, so it isn't correct, is to use column P as a drop down list on every row. The drop down list will have numbers 1-40. As a number is entered in column K, it is deleted from the drop down list on every row.

It might be more clear if I have a better explanation of the auto fill. In the Prefix column, under the g, enter "xe" and toggle right. You will see all column numbers change and the number 6 disappear from the Helper Column. Eventually the drop down list will become empty.

Thank you and I appreciate any assistance anyone can be.

That concept is employed in this example. You will have to modify it for your purposes.
