    Conditional Formatting

    Attached is excel example. I highlighted cell values in red that it needs to look like after conditional formatting applied.

    If cell values in LUCP is less than cell values in cost, then highlight text in LUCP red.

    Can anyone solve using conditional formatting? I have large spreadsheet where I want to apply the formatting to.

    Re: Conditional Formatting

    Ah. Basically you just highlight the cells you want to be the same conditional format then setup the formatting. A step by step approach then do this;

    Okay click on cell B2, then click on conditional formatting button under home tab at the top, then manage rules. The option i choose since we are doing a less than was format only cells that contain, and under that there are 3 drop down lists below that, i choose cell value, and in the second drop down menu there is a less than, 3rd drop down asks less than what, i choose less than what you said A2. Click okay to be finished. Does that help?
