conditional formatting -- change direction of evaluation -- using color scales (2010)

    Hello,

I have a table with four unique conditional formatting rules; one of which uses the Color Scale option. The Color Scale option is where my challenge is focused. I formatted the entire table at once, and the colors work; however, the colors are evaluating the table data horizontally (e.g., the lowest number is red, across the first row), and I want to evaluate the table data vertically (e.g., find the lowest number in the first column and make that number red). Is there a simple way to invert the evaluation for this feature?

Thanks very much for any help!!

You need for each column a new CF formula.
