(Solved) Looking to replace numbers >0 with a 1 in a large spreadsheet

Hello,

I have a large spread sheet (A2:CB656). I have already created a pivot table with my columns representing "species" and rows representing "site location". This table has been completed but I am now wanting to look at presence/absence for each species at a given site. I am wanting to take the cells with numbers ">0" and replacing it with a "1". Any suggestions?

I suspect that you are wanting a count of species. If that is correct then consider using the Countif or Countifs function within Excel.

Yes,

for example my table now looks like:

site fish1 fish2
123 0 2
124 3 0
125 0 10

I would like it to look like this...

site fish1 fish2
123 0 1
124 1 0
125 0 1


Does this make my objective a little easier to understand?
