I need help in auto filling the date across 31 worksheets using my format

Hi everyone,

I have created a workbook with 31 worksheets (they represent each day of the month). I'd like to know how I can auto fill the date in cell A1 across the 31 worksheets without having to type in each day myself. I need the date format to look like this: Wednesday 7th May 2014

In other words, cell A1 in worksheet 1 needs to say Thursday 1st May 2014, cell A1 in worksheet 2 needs to say Friday 2nd May 2014, cell A1 in worksheet 3 needs to say Saturday 4th May 2014 and so on for the remainder of the worksheets for that month.

I hope I have explained myself clearly. Can anyone help me please???

You could enter the date in worksheet 1, and format it as Dddd d"th" Mmmm YYYY and then go to sheet 2 to and have =Sheet1!A1+1, then go to sheet 3 and have =Sheet1!A1+2

What have you called each tab? You could use a

to get the tab name to work out how much to add to Sheet1!A1.

The tab names are: 01. 02. 03. 04. 05. 06. 07. 08. 09. 10. 11. etc (ie day number followed with a fullstop)

Where do I copy the formula? Which cell does it go in and do i copy the same formula in the same cell in each worksheet??
