Need help selecting a whole row of data in a seperate sheet

Hi All,

Im not fantastic with excel, but i hope i can describe my problem well enough so your excel brains can understand. FYI I'm using excel 2010

I have a large list of properties with house number, street, postcode etc in separate columns in a table. These are labelled 1-110 in the first column. In a separate sheet of the same workbook i would like to have a drop down list where i can select property number 1, 2, 3 etc, and then this will show the whole row of data for the specific property from my original table. So selecting property 1 in my second sheet will show the property number, house no, street and postcode for that specific property.

Hi there
It was very simple.
1st I created named range for data validation dropdow.My named range is dymamic-it will expand when You add rows to source.But it can be statisc as good.Of course you can select data for data validation list source directly. Then by using combination of INDEX&MATCH I load the data from source to row. But VLOOKUP can be used as well. If Your source is formated as table or not does not matter,but it really helps when creating lookup function.
