That's not enough information. Attach an example (Go Advanced>Manage Attachments) Show us where the errors are and what you would like to be there.

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.

Still not sure what we are doing.
So you have 2 sets of data.
Here's what I think you are asking for.
First, the first columns need to match (that gets rid of "Rick")
Then check the second column.
The only one that matches in Col 2 is "Example" so that value (a "Y") gets put into the new cell (Like IceStation did)
Then, we move to the next col (3).
Do you want to only look in 3 if it matched in 2 or look at all of them?
