Find replace queston

Hey everyone and good morning

I have a question i have data formatted as follows 123*456*789, and 100's of rows i would like to replace the "*" with "x" however doing standard ctrl+f and replace gives me x's in all the cells.

Please see the attached spreadsheet.

Is there a script that can do it in .csv ?

You can use the Convert Text to Columns Wizard in Excel and import the csv into an excel sheet and use zbor's formula. Then save back the output file as csv

I am posting this for someone who has very little knowledge of excel and i am trying to make it as simple as possible for him... is there a script out there that you could recommend for me.
