Excel DAX Formula Help

Hello Friends.

I'm trying to create a new measure in DAX using DATESBETWEEN function. As shown below the mesasure shows no
error in formula , however when used in a Pivot, I get an error. I have ensured the first argument within Datesbetween is referring
to a Date Column in my Newdata table and also this column is correctly formatted as Date.

Any help is much appreciated.

I have 2 questions for you...

1. is DATESBETWEEN a UDF? because I do not believe it is a native 2010 function?
2. Seeing as this appears to be an excel question, why upload a word document? It would be better to upload the (clean) excel workbbok and explain what you want/have

DATESBETWEEN is a function within PowerPivot Addin . The attached file shows the error message .
