Formula to Match a record from two tables and return its value

Hello folks,

Ive got two tables on different tabs. I need to locate a record from one table accroding to a project code reference and then return the value in a certain column of the table.

This is what i have so far1

=(INDEX(Planner,MATCH(Forecast[@[Project]:[Project]],Planner[[Project]:[Project]],0),Planner[Budget Cost]))

it finds the record row, however i cant return the column number. Ive tried adding column() but the table doesnt start on A so returns the wrong number. I know this is simple but its driving me mad.... please help.
