Question Results Sheet, Possible with Vlookup?

Hi, I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct section. I apologize if I am not.

At first I was looking for a program, but then i was thinking I might be able to do this in excel:

    --------
    Ex:

    Item 1
    Dimensions: __ (user input)
    Price: (dependent on user input)
Qty of Materials: (dependent on user input)

    Item 2
    Dimensions: __ (user input)
    Price: (dependent on user input)
Qty of Materials: (dependent on user input)

etc, etc. For about 100 different items.

I know all that can be done with excel sheets and formulas,

    HOWEVER,

I would like there to be a results page that only shows the items where user has put an input.

Ex: user only has dimensions for items 2,5,& 6.
I just want those results to populate on the results page for only items 2,5,&6

    Any clue anyone??

Yes it is very much possible. But you will be required to upload a sample workbook with enough sample data in it along with the desired output on result sheet.

Sounds like you want something like this...

Lookup with multiple instances of the lookup value

In your case the criteria would be Item/dimension cells that are not blank.

sktneer, I have attached a sample sheet samplesheet.xlsx with 3 parts. 2 of them have user imputed information, so ideally, only those 2 would show up on the results tab, (i just added them manually right now)

Tony Valko, I checked out the link you sent. Thank you so much, however I'm not sure if I can figure out how to implement that into my sheet here

Here is another version, more simple.

I just want to know how to basically have only the items that are checked off show up on the results page.
In the sample sheet 2, check box #1,3,4, & 6 are selected.
So I only want the parts of those 4 items to appear in the results page.sample sheet 2.xlsx
