When specifying criteria in a SUMIF or SUMPRODUCT formula in Excel 2003, does the case of the "criteria" matter? For instance: If a criteria was male designated by an "m" in the cells, does it matter if the formula is looking for "M" ?

Nope, case is irrelevant in Sumif and Sumproduct
Didn't think so, but please see my latest thread "SUMPRODUCT resulting in 0"
Thanks
