Can a cell keep the cumulative of the values typed in the adjacent cell on daily basis?

    Dear Experts,

Please see the attached excel table. I need the cell E4 to keep adding the values typed in the cell D4 on daily basis. The cumulative shouldn't be changed if there is no value in the cell D4. E4 should accumulate and keep the totals typed in D4...

    Regards..

Re: Can a cell keep the cumulative of the values typed in the adjacent cell on daily basis

    Hi Zbor,

Thanks for the macro. However, how can I use this in the attached data table? I need this macro to run in the "shaded columns" (cumulative)in the data table. The actual data table has 21 production lines, I have just put here only 5 production lines.

Here, the data will be entered only in the "yellow colour" cells. Please explain me how can I populate this macro to other lines...

It's harder but as long as you have regular distribution of cells you can do something like:

Yes, as I mention before you need to have consistent table.
You have every 3rd column for Cumulative input. But between Q and T are 4 columns.
Code work if you enter number in R column (not S).
So you need to delete Checking WIP column and it will work.

What you enter in that column?
Can you delete R column and Checking WIP write as comment in Q column?
