I'm having difficulty with a formula to account for employees accrued vacation days earned. The issue is that each month has different dates and employees have different hire dates, so calculating days earned per month will be prorated depending on when they started. Therefore, I have created a table to the side calculating vacation days earned on a monthly basis- the combination of all months equals the value under the column "Emp Hire Date." The main problem is that future months are populating a full 0.5833 days. Can someone please help me with my formula based on these criteria:
A) Each employee earns 0.5833 vacation days per month.
B) Vacation is earned from the start of the Emp Hire Date but cannot be used until 6 months of employment.
C) Contractors do not receive vacation pay, which is why the value is "FALSE".
