compiling worksheets to master sheet?

I'm a complete newbie here, so please be gentle . . .

I run worksheets per job I'm doing. I'm a painter so I run hours, materials, cost, profit etc. I'm wondering if I can move the profit/loss to a master sheet. I can't seem to find anything on HELP to cover this.

So I need a formula (?) to copy the P/L to gauge the same/quarter etc. Any ideas? I don't bite.

Need all, since we need to have macro to get the worsheet datas on your master file
