    What formula to use when adding cells in a row with #n/a

    EXCEL 2007

    Hi,
    I'm trying to add cells in a row, and some cells read #n/a, and some cells read a number.

    say a2=4
    b2=6
    c2=#n/a

    in d2, i would like to add those up, and it should be 10
    but I can't seem to get the right formula.

    Thanks for any help

    You could try this:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    the cells are not next to each other:
    example:b2=5, h2=10, k2=#n/a

    IN p2 i need for it to read 15

    What's in the other cells? Upload a sample file and we don't need to go back and forth with limited information each time.

    BKG, 2 things...
    why do you repeat your posts? Posts 3, 6 and 7 are identical - stop repeating yourself.

    and, more importantly, please comply with my request in post # 4. Other members will not post until you do

    Thanks

    BKG, my apologies, I was looking for the change in the 1st post on this thread, I did not notice you had changed it in post 6. I have removed the infraction. For future reference, to change the title, change it on the 1st post

    In the totals the heading is PINFALL, but in the other headings it is PFALL. They need to match.
