Hlookup issue

Hi All,

I am having a lot of trouble using a HLOOKUP and it not bringing up the answer I am expecting. I have attached an example of what I mean and hoped someone could help?

Basically, I have some questions and answers for which I am using a validation table, and then this should then generate the appropriate score in the adjacent box. I am not sure whether the issue comes about because the validation table uses cells which are copies from another sheet. By this i mean i have done =sheet!## to copy the contents, though I don't see why this would cause an issue.

The actual formula I am using is: =IF(H22=0,0,HLOOKUP(H22,Y22:AD23,2)) and I can't figure out where the issue is!

Please take a look at my example and I would really appreciate any help I can get, though I know I probably haven't explained this brilliantly!

H22 Value is Option 7. The array you defined in the HLookup only goes to column AD, which is through option 6.

Since you did not specify an exact lookup by using the FALSE function after the row designation, it is doing a more fuzzy lookup, and is grabbing another, similar response.
