    always deduct the lesser value from the greater value from two columns please?

    hi all, so i have two columns of numbers (A,B) and i need a formula that always deducts the lesser number from the greater number from these two columns and shows the result in Column C please.

    Any help would be much appreciated,

    You can use the ABS function

    =ABS(A1-B1)

    MAX and MIN Excel functions.
