Conversion to Excel - date of birth 1909 - shows as 2009.

Had a file with 1500 names and DOB's which was a .TXT file so I had to convert to excel. There were a bunch of people whose DOB ranged from 1901 to 1945 which all converted to 2001 to 2045. Is there a simple fix for this? What is the cutoff for when it will show 19xx compared to 20xx?

Had one person whose DOB was 1899. I manually adjusted it to 1899 but when I did a "=age360" it came back with an error because it did not recognize the "18".

Searched the board and did not really see an answer. Thanks in advance!!

    Hi Jim,

    Welcome to the Forum.

I believe you have imported the text file using the Text Import Wizard with Delimited option. If that is the case, then in the final step, you can select that particular date column and click Text option. Refer screenshot enclosed.
