Can you solve an excel issue I have: I am working with a budget and I need to divide the annual budget into monthly amounts. So lets say $1000 / 12 = $83.3333333 per month. I want Excel to read this as $83.33 and lose the remaining decimals after the .33. If it were $2000 / 12 = $166.666666 I would want this to read as $166.67 and remove all other decimals. I know how to round off to 2 decimal places, but Excel "remembers" the rest of the decimals even if they are not shown. So when I add up a column of thousands of these hidden decimal places, they add a few pennies/dollars to my total I do not want. I want excel to FORGET anything after 2 decimals places exists but first I want it rounded up or down to the closest penny. How can I accomplish this???
