Counting work occurrences for attendance
Currently, I am working on a spreadsheet where I need to track employee occurrences for attendance. If an employee is absent, they obtain 1 occurrence. This 1 occurrence allows them to be absent three consecutive work days. If they are absent for the 4th concecutive day, they obtain an additional occurrence and are allowed an additional three work days they can be absent before obtaining another occurrence. Since an employee can work 4 day or 5 day weeks, I'm having difficulty finding a formula that would calculate this. Any help would be much appreciated.
