    Lookup Query

    Hello

I知 looking for a solution to the below problem.

I値l give a general overview of my spreadsheet data currently and what I知 trying to do with it.

I have a sheet with a list of activities in one column, then along the top across multiple columns different job titles, creating an activity/job title matrix. The data in the matrix against each job title/activity will be either R,A,C,I (Responsible, accountable, consulted, informed). So you can look at any activity and see who has the associated responsibilities or you can look at a job title and see what they池e supposed to be doing.

However what I want to do with this is have another set of columns with the headers Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed. Again with the activities down the side in another colulmn. I want to be able to take the data from the first matrix and output into this table in a different format. So in the first matrix if there is an activity which has 3 people responsible for completing an activity (illustrated by an R against each job title), it would look this up and in the new table output it as the 3 job titles concatenated together against the same activity in the Responsible column

I致e tried with lookups and if statements, but I知 not having much luck.

    Thanks
    Sean

    Sample RACI.xlsx

I've just made a quick sample of the type of data I'm trying to generate.

    Thanks

    Re: Lookup Query

Thanks I'll have a look at applying that to my larger document.

My only query is whether this will apply to a larger matrix easily enough, its my fault for not being clear in the sample document, but there is about 25 job titles in some of my larger matrices.

    Thanks

    Re: Lookup Query

    Hi Sean
This formula structure will allow for up to 64 nested IF statements so hopefully that will meet your needs.
