How do I change the formula to show the previous wednesday day from todays date

Hi I have a formul that looks at a text day and a start date and produces the date relvent to the text day.

I need the formula to show the previous date from the text entry.

=A2+INT(FIND(LEFT(A6,3),"MonTueWedThuFriSatSun")/3)

A2 is the start date

A6 is the text day

So if I enter Wednesday with todays date as the start date the display would read 02/07/14
