Please find the attached 2010 Version Excel file <Week number.xlsx>.
In Column A list of dates in text format `YYYYMMDD' available and in Column B values are plotted.
Now i want to calculate the average value (in Yellow cells) for the given week number (Week starts from Monday to Saturday)
1) With irrespective of any year,
2) with given year,

Add a helper column in C, with
this will help, you can even do it in your summary section as an array formula, but maybe best to use a sumif off this helper column.
