    Excel Query Date Range Exluding Weekends

    I have a query that grabs information based on the date range I enter; however, I want it only to grab information from weekdays and leave out the weekend days and information.

    The formula I have in the Value field is: >=#21/06/2014# And <=#11/07/2014#

    I've tried playing around with WORKDAY and NETWORKDAYS but I haven't been able to find anything that works.

    Is the query against a database table? Excel worksheet?
    Is it an actual database query? MS Query? PowerQuery? Something else?
    What have you tried...even if it hasn't worked?

    It is a query using Microsoft Query and it is pulling the data sources from an external database and then the query results are output to Excel.

    Bascially I've tried different variations of these:

    =NETWORKDAYS(>=#21/06/2014# And <=#11/07/2014#)
    =WORKDAY(21/06/2014,11/07/2014)

    Sometimes I get a "syntax error" message, sometimes I get an "invalid coloumn name" message, and sometimes I get a "missing right parenthesis message".

    I've attached a screen shot of the fields I have. I've just been changing the formula in the "Value" field.
