COUNTIF, SUMIF, for a range of data

    Hi all,
I need the formula in C5 (an then consecutive rows)- the criteria are in the attempted formula of cell C5
To do the same math as in cells G3:IA3
Goal: to use 1 worksheet per part by utilizing ONLY column C for this formula and eliminating any links

I know there is a way to combine formulae to get to where I need to go.
I have suceeded with the formula placed to calculate my colums (features) into %pass rates.
I need to do the same with each row (for each part).
Currently I have 2 workbooks to get the results I need for the rows in workbook1.
Workbook1 = data (linked to workbook2 to retrieve pass rates)
workbook2 = calculating pass rates of workbook

I have copied a sample of what workbook2 is reading from workbook1 starting in row 20 of the attachment.
I would like to keep everything in ONE workbook, and each part to ONE worksheet.
Workbook1 currently contains 40+ worksheets (one part per worksheet, 2 worksheets in the sample)
Each sheet starts with data from Jan 1st and will collect data until Dec 31st, which usually takes up anywhaere between 10 parts to 5000 parts (rows)

    Thank you

    Hi,

It is unclear what you are trying to achieve with your lower and upper values.. Your attempt to code the formula fails as the usage of the function doesn't match the syntax.

Can you give us more clarity of your need by explaining it through an example?

Re: COUNTIF, SUMIF, for a range of data

reviewed the attachment, and altered it to more understandable items (hopefully)
Lets say that each part is a plant. And each feature is a day.
Now each plant is allowed to grow above ground (stem) by a certain amount each day,
    which varies.
And the plant is allowed to grow below the ground (roots) each day, which also varies.

The % rate in row 3 shows that on each day either ALL plants successfully kept their
growth to the expectation .This will shows 100% growth rate for this day
    - or as with date 1/12/14 being the worst day.

Now the pass rate in column C will show each plants success rate for the entire time.
Looks like blueberry and strawberry were entirely successful.

but I need this formula for each plant to occupy the cell in column C for each plant.
    I hope this helps
    Thank you
