Please see attached spreadsheet. The "Current" tab will be used for data entry. It will have various types of drawings for various facilities, each facility will have more than one drawing type. The "MEL" tab will be used as a summary file that needs to auto-populate.

I'm currently populating Column B with a simple macro. Column C & D can use a simple VLookup function based on Column B.

Column D "Date Modified" needs to be updated with the last date associated with the "Facility". Example:

Location "ALT-2" has 8 drawings with 8 potential drafting status dates, the latest of which is 2-Apr. Therefore, E5 on the MEL should display 2-Apr.

Please suggest a function.

Column E-J containing Drawing Descriptions "MEL E-J". I'm attempting to count the number of each drawing type per facility. Example:

HTX-1 has (6) MEL-E drawings. As such, cell F-3 should be show "6".

I'm trying to use a countifs statement based on Column B & Row 2 with the formula below:

=countifs(Current!F:F,$B3,Current!H:H,F$2)

The formula is not working.

Please suggest any formula or macros would work most efficiently.

Check this u formula works fine.

The Problem is that

u have entered correct formula in Forum but wrong in u r excel. i have replace the column f:f to h:h and works fine
