sumproduct formula using a wildcard expression

I am using the following sumproduct formula which works fine.

    =SUMPRODUCT(($T$3:$T$8000=B3)*($V$3:$V$8000="Pending Additional Info")*($AA$3:$AA$8000="X"))

However, in column V, I have 10 different categories all containing the word "Pending". I want my expression to include any cell with the word "Pending". Thanks in advance for any comments.

Per your comments, attached is example. The formula I am using now returns "6". The expected result, using a wild card expression, is "12"

    Thanks

Or use a pivot table for that, then you get the values of all criteria (and filter out the ones you don't need).

The sumproduct using the "Search" expression works. Thank you.
