    TREND - conclusion

I need to get some conclusions about trends. I did a worksheet, as an example and using the function trend (see attached file). I got to reach some values, by now, the point is: how I could conclude that the trend is a growth, a stable/stability, or a reduction/regression. Is there any function or rule that you can provide me in order to identify the conclusion?
I would appreciate it a lot any help on this issue.
Thank you, and if you need more information, please, let me know.

    You can use LINEST.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

It will return you positive or negative value meaning positive or negative growth

    Re: TREND - conclusion

    =SLOPE(known_y's,known_x's)

would also give you positive/negative for growth/regression (or 0 for stable)

    Re: TREND - conclusion

Hi, thank you for answering quickly. It seems that it would be easy to find out the growth or regression, but how could I know if the trend is stable (there will be not growth or there will be not regression)?
    thank you.
BTW, Using LINEST I am not able to conclude that is growth or stable.
