Good Day,

I am looking to build a formula the will look at a cell (Y for yes and N for no), and IF the cell is N, then I want it to calculate the time taken (in my spreadsheet it is L84-C84) in a date/time format (8/158/18 13:00). I have attempted to use several different variation of the IF statement, but all I obtain is FALSE or #Value. I would attache the spreadsheet but it is confidential.

I have attempted:
=IF((G84,"=N"),=(L84-C84))
=((L84-C84),=IF(G84,"=N"))

And some similar variations (leaving out commas, parenthasis, etc.)

Can anyone help?

Thank you, it worked great. Can you tell me why the double quotes at the end of the formula? What do they signify?

The double quotes mean "Nothing"
