    vlookup problem

    I know I have used this before but I am only getting #N/A as a result on my entire selection.

    The numbers on your sheets are in different formats - one is a number and one is a string.

    Two things.

    First, column A of your Employee roster is formatted as text. You'll need to either change the format, or make the formula look for a text string instead of a value.

    Second, you should probably use absolute references in the formula for the table array, like:
