    Grouping on Scores

I have attached is a spreadsheet that has this
    Column A Player
    Column B Score
    Column H&I Points earned

What I would like to do is this.

I need to organize column b into 5 groups based on their score. The lowest 10 scores would fall into group 5 and get 5 points, scores 11-20 would fall into group 4 and get 4 points and so on.

The catch is I don't want to reorganize column A or B

So In column C I would like to return the number of points received.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

Not quite, I want column d to return the number of points not what group they are in.

ALso the rank formula is referencing wrong cells

    Re: Grouping on Scores

    thats better,

But in cell C1 we have this =RANK(B1,B1:B50)
In cell C2 we have this =RANK(B2,B2:B51)

Is there away to copy cell in C1 that the range comes in as B1:B50 but reference cell changes accordingly
