Combine seperate date and time cells into a single cell and reference named range

    Hi All,

First time poster to this forum.

I'm trying to extract the maximum value from a date restricted range.

I have used the following code

which I got from this website:

    http://www.get-digital-help.com/2009...ange-in-excel/

This code works great If I'm using data which stores the date and time in the same cell.

But if I'm using data that stores the date in one cell and the time in another then I have to add an extra column, combine my date and time by adding them together and then using my newly created datetime cell as my named range.

I'm wondering if I can combine my date and time together in the formula so I don't have to add a new column every time I work with data in this format.

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers

    Steve

I mean just add the Date and Time cells in your criteria...
    That will do..
as You have not told which side of the Criteria has the problem..
So I go with the Column Side..
