page number issues

I have been using Microsoft Excel for years and I can't believe that I am having this many issues.
I have a multiple worksheet workbook and I want each worksheet to be numbered not have them all numbered together when I print.
I have 8 different worksheets some of them are only one page long and others are up to 3 pages long and I need each worksheet to have page numbers that start on number 1.
I also have the top 7 rows that repeat at the top of each sheet and I wanted to have a location on that, that has the page numbers in it instead of the header or footer.

any help would be great
