Looking up new bar codes and matching to product.

    See attached sheets:

New product codes (sheet 2- Horizontal rows B1 through E10 need to be applied to products on sheet 1 according to size (vertical column F)...the common name (product color) is in column 1 on code sheet 2...matching the same name repeated for each of the four sizes in column 4 on product sheet.

The problem is coming up with a formula that places all the correct codes on the product sheet in column K...and being able to copy it down for several hundred different products.

I've tried multiple ways with both VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH combos without success.

    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi, Welcome to the forum,

Try with the below formula in the attached file (slight modification done in column B)

Re: Looking up new bar codes and matching to product.

Thanks....didn't work, but seems to be on correct concept. Problem is probably my fault for inadequate explanation.
I've attached a slightly longer "products" sheet and highlighted the variable columns that might be used.
For each color there are new barcodes that fit for each size of XS, SM, MD, and LG (and there is no new bar code for XL). These are on the sheet for EACH color...I include three colors vertically in column D: "Adopted", "Aloha Breeze" and "American Flags"...each with the sizes to match the colors on the "barcodes" sheet.
You can see what I'm trying to do....make a formula that can be copied down the "New barcodes" column K on the "Products" sheet which has vertical orientation from the "barcodes" sheet which has horizontal orientation.
    A tough one!!
    thanks,

    rsuits
